Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for next month's bout.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really happening.
